Grille Inserts-HELP
Grille Inserts-HELP
i just bought some pieces of gutter guard to use as a grille for my 04-i have no body kit on it, just the factory-i need help on mounting a top and bottom grille cause i dont know where to start-ive done it for a friend on his 99 but the same bracket isnt there anymore-any ideas? thanks
this is what i did when i had to cut out my grill for my sf turbo. i got some wire fencing got some black spray paint and sprayed it then put it in with zip ties on the bottem so you cant see them and a little duck tape. it looks i feal better then that junk you pay for at autozone for like 80 bucks. this cost less then 7
yes its not the best way but it worked so i did not have to buy a new bumper and paint it. just be carfull when cutting the wire it can get sharp and i stabed my self kind of bad hitting the bone in my thumb

Gutter guards? Chicken wires?....Where is this world coming to!
I have an 04 too..Im assuming your driving a LX or DX b/c your replacing the grille with wire? I personally think our stock grille is stylish ..makes us a lil bit different from the EX.
But...if I were to switch it up, I'd go with Disiuss's method.. Find some nice wiring, spray it whatever color (Black or Dark Silver always looks nice) ..as for mounting it onto your car..Zip Tires, or if your wiring is small enough, you may be able to just replace the mounts that the factory grill came with so you don't need to looks tacky when you pop the hood for a pal.
