So I noticed they now sell chrom mirrors that will somewhat match my car

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33649

Im thinking these are way to cheap to be any good. The mirrors also look more narrow and far smaller then my stock mirrors. Also I noticed they werent heated like the stock ones are.

I mean considering this mod would be cheaper and easier then getting side markers is it worth it?

The size of the mirror really bugs me as well as the cost. Seems to cheap for mirrors

I personally do not like m3 mirrors, looks awful in many ways.
Chrome, non powered. UGLY.
A lot smaller than OEM mirrors.

Get sidemakers

I got the unpainted ones with power and had them paint to match my car. I think they look better than stock, but if you want side mirrors that you can actually use, I wouldn't recommend them, the mirror is almost half the size. Now when I switch lanes I look over my shoulder instead of using the useless mirrors, and backing into a parking spot in the street, well lets say you might as well just do it blind.
