wheel locks
yup i've been using wheel locks since my first set of rims. I have autozone ones
but any will work fine; don't lose the lock.
Just some added security, but 'if they want it bad enough they'll find a way'.

it's up to you if you want to put em on. Maybe you live in an area where theft is low.
To get to my rims, 2 keys are required b/c I have the spline drive lug nuts and wheel locks.

If they want them bad enough, they'll jack the whole car. Its just to deter "opportunity theft". Honestly, if you're buying **** rims (Honda rims cost more and insurance would be better off covering those), then why bother? If you're buying good ****, then yeah, its worth it.

my alarms' tilt sensor goes off at just 1 degree of movement. my shock sensor is sensitive enough. too. wheel locks can be taken off very easily. either by hammering on a larger socket, or using a specific tool to remove locking lugs. Snap-On and Blue point make such tools. Either way, if they want them that bad, and manage to get them without setting off my alarm...so be it.

kool.. thanks... i already got tuner lugs on my rims which uses the special key to take it off and which i think are hella thin just to fit in the tiny little hole.... just didnt think they made the locks too... another question for everybody... where does everyone store there keys for the lugs???.. most people i talk to store it in there glove.. others hide it in a specail part of the car
I keep it in that tool packet that came with the car, in the trunk next to the jack and spare. It's hard as hell trying to reach under for it with all the books and crap i have in the trunk

I don't know guys...I used to think if thiefs want some rims bad enough, then they'd take them. But with the setup I got...I think they may just want to go to someone else's car. It takes three keys to get to mine and theres no opening for something to be jammed into it, its not metric so no metric tool nor standard. We're talking about no socket in the world will get these suckers off...just the perfect key....my key! Plus I dont like lugs with an opening in them...it makes it easy for dirt, grime, and of course rust from water to make them nasty looking. And as for using a chisel to just make a hole into the lug...well yeah..but then the rim will be damaged and it'll be loud to attempt. Oh yeah, and thank god for tilt sensor and it'll page me and then the thief is in trouble. Mannnnnn.....
sounds like ur talking about tuner lugs.. tuner lugs fit in those small holes on rims and need a special key to take off... plus if u get tuner lug locks u need 2 keys to take if off.. dpeending which one u get
yes, a socket will get the lock off, trust me it is a B1tch, my friends accord had some, flat tire....couldnt find the key...yeah, 3 hours in a club parking lot, had to be a smaller socket on the lock, and pull like hell, yeah, just make darn sure you dont lose the key

sears, 3 piece locking lug remover. very very simple concept, its just half a size smaller on standard or metric lugs and has grooves that dig into the lugs for a clean extraction. Cost me $29.99 and have gotten off 3 very different lugs. even the fully rounded ones with inner patterns.
