looking for info on how to install a Shift lite, I found information that i may be able to splice into a tach wire rather than the ignition. Any helpful info will be appreciated.

last time i checked ur not supposed to install a shift light at the ignition.. thats for starting the car.. ur supposed to tap into the tach wire which can be found either the blue wire from ur guage cluster or the test tach wire under the engine bay near the front right side of the car where the fuses are
