anyone here reupholster stock seats by yourself?
anyone here reupholster stock seats by yourself?
i'm thinking of redoing me seats with leather. i know i need to use hog rings etc. but i've never done this kind of stuff before.
is there anything i should know before trying it?(iknow about the srs light too)
is it hard to do? some peeps tell me it's not so bad while others tell me i shouldnt attempt it because i wont have all the tools
what tools do i need? i can get hog ring pliers and hog rings easily.

yes it wasnt that hard . it took me a couple of days cause I did one seat at a time. I used needle nose plyers and a falt head screw driver. just put the new ones on like you take the old ones off just in reverse

the zipper was removed. you have to pull the zippers apart. there is a little clam at the end. pull that off and sread the zippers. There is a clip at the middle of the fabric that you fave to pull apart also.
