i was wanderin, i've seen the lambo doors at streelevelperformance and it states that there is no cutting no painting or repainting etc... what i wanted to know was that are they full door replacements or a kit that will make your existing doors lambo doors?

no clue about those, my kit was just a pair of hinges. and they look great.

i dont see anyone selling full door replacements.
with the kit there reallly is no modding needed... maybe shave the inside of the fender a little but thats it... so w/ the kit there really is not cutting or painting.. its actually straight forward...
but ild say its deff. not full door replacements... that would be way too expensive to manufacture and sell a whole kit and the doors... for around 1600-1900.

I doubt it is a full door replacement, that would just be wasteful to have another set of doors. Although it'd be cool if they made carbon fiber doors for us.

its just a hinge from what i hear i have the decah kit (modded) and i still had to trim my inside fenders but it works and loooks great

Yup all Lambo kits are the same... Hinge kit with struts... All that is needed is a little fender trimming and a lot of door adjustment...

is there a way to shave your handles and use the lambo kit? and just push the button like usual with shaved handles and have the struts open the door lambo style?

^^^ yeah they can... i did mine with a friend it
took about 4.5 hours to do the whole thing... extend the wires etc etc...
i had the decah kit.... also had to shave the fenders...
but yeah you could deff. do it have a friend help though..

i did mine all by myself and it wasnt too bad, would've been easier with a friend but i wouldnt pay anyone to do it

www.autoloc.com has a set of universal lambo door kits.. motorized is like $2500. but the bad part, it IS universal.. so some major modding will be needed. definately professional work if ya want those done correctly. but you'd be able to shave it with those. they are the only motorized/remote ones i know of.. and for the old sunfire, universal kit, with modding..

I dont know how they do it put a import shop near my house will install motorized lambo doors for only $1800!!!! thats how much I was going to spend on manual lambos. plus it can't be crappy work because they give a life-time warranty except if the actuators go bad they have a 3 year warranty.

to shave doors u need a special shaved door kit(actually just some things u can get almost any where but kits come with warranty)

btw.. www.autoloc.com .. has anyone bough from em.. i dunt turst em much... since the page isnt even done .. when i first saw the add in a mag the site had like 2 pages and was on alpha (public aplha LOL)... and its still under development... if u have ... they sell linear actuators .. at like 100 buckes a piece.. that the only dif between manual and auto lambo door..
and anyways .. anyone here have a DIABLO DOOR KIT from GT FACTORY ? this particular one im really into... but its too expensive for me.. (they all are..) this kit allows the doors to open verticaly and horizontaly (low profile in crowds)... manual though

This guy has a good Idea, if someone could donate a hinge from one side of the DECAH kit (I think decah is the best kit right?) I could have identical copies made no problem.
(I just need one side for like a week or two and I send it back, along with a few hundred for whoever is willing to go through the trouble of sending me a hinge, I'll cover the freight getting it to me and back of course, you can ship it UPS collect on my account.)
If anyone is willing just reply here or PM me.
