I am going to wait these headers are only $199 and the only finish they have at least right now is stainless steel. Sounds pretty good to me since headers will only give a few horsepower anyway I don't really feel like pay 310-330 for kamikaze ceramic headers.

nope

yeah but the thing is I have an LX and DC sport doesn't do LX models. Plus I have heard bad things about DC sports headers like they don't do anything and the ceramic coat cracks. So thats why I am waiting to see what DNX has to offer me.

Their website is annoying and hard to navigate.

But if you get to the part about P2 technology (in the exhaust section), you will see that it says:

"...an enhanced "P2" perforated partition technology that delivers an exclusive intimidating sound."

DNX is made by the same company that makes dynomax exhausts. Ive heard both good & bad things about dynomax, but it was mostly good.

DC = Stock. IE there is no point in getting it. HP full race headers and kamikazes full length have made people most pleased on the site.

If you look more into the header it is only for off road or racing applications not legal for street use

Enlighten us with what you have heard. Because being on here since august of 02 I do believe I would have read bad things about the kamikazi. And I have heard nothing bad.

I was disappointed with both the HP shorty header and the Kamikaze. I lost all of my low end. I went back to my DC stainless and love it. Everyone has a different opinion, I don't think there is a "best" as far as headers go.

i have hurd that kamikaze headers really do not give that much power. And I have also hurd that it likes to mess with something on your exhaust...i dunno!!

but then again...this was on another car...not a civic
But i dunno about u guyz but i would forget about these headers or whatever and save up for turbo!
headers cost like 300 bux or more and they only give u probably 3-5 hp gain...not worth it to me

I used to have a Kamikaze header and unlike an intake you do feel a gain with the header on. I have nothing but good things to say about my kamikaze headers, even though i don't have them anymore

no they don't equal stock but compaired to everything else the piping is smaller and closest to stock. In fact it is pretty close to the stock size.

not anything like the LX/DX manifold... nice increase in performance there... but for EX I would expect the improvement to be VERY minor if any....

Thats why dc headers dont lose low end torque and hp. DC headers are also carb legal, unlike other headers.

You have to think of it this way, why slap a huge pipe on a tiny exh port. You lose velocity. Hence the small diameter on DC and the low end power staying where it should. If you head is modded then the dc header goes by-by.
Anyone have a used HP shorty for sale?

flash sites are a pain in the ***.
Is it just me or does the header pictured look like an EX one? They don't list a model just 01-04 civ 2dr and 4dr. also it just looks like another HP style header.
