Alright.. I was just wondering how much a roof scoop would cost to install? Any info would be greatly appreciated I know the scoop goes for 130$ at a site I was just at, and than another 50-100$ for paint but installment is what should be the catch.. Just curious how much thx

if you dont want to use the AC in your car and you are equipped with a sunroof this would be awesome. Slide the sunroof back and let the roof scoop cool the innside..

Just cut a plastic trash can in half the thin way and use that. That's what that guy did on eBay. He used the other half of it for his "hood scoop." lol.

Dude, just say NO to the Slow and the Curious....
If this is just for looks, no- bad rice bad. Do you have an actual need for a roof scoop? I.e. engine swap to your trunk and you need ducting? Or do ya wanna look like the Eclipse in the first slow&curious movie?

I may be new, but the first things I look at on any car are the functionality. Does it serve a purpose? Which is why I asked if he had a reason for it. If not, oh well, it's his car he can do what he likes. None of our griping really means anything in the long run anyway.
Lookin' nice is one thing, whoopin *** cause things are functional and looking good at the same time is better.
To add some validity to these posts... whatever you get, make sure you take it to a body shop you trust. One that will fasten down the edges nice and snug. Because with no where to go, any air that does get in there (assuming the aerodynamics of where you place it allow air to be forced inside) are gonna put a lot of pressure on whatever is holding that thing on. Which if I'm not mistaken can, from some shops, be cheap-ed out with just either 'glass or body filler.

Roof scoops serve 1 purpose and 1 purpose only: to push air into a car that doesn't have AC like Rally cars. If it is molded to the sheetmetal on the roof then it is crap.
