Bra's

have these gone out of style or what? I was thinking of getting one but I have not seen a car with one for a long time. If I do get one, does anyone know of a good place to order from? I appreciate the help and remarks.

bras on cars don't look right, imo (scratches, stone chips, dings, etc.. are gonna happen).

Why don't you go get a clear bra?
Its a clear protective film to help prevent damage.
Plus it looks like you have nothing on the car.

Stay away from the old black bras.

Besides being ugly (even back in the 80s), it actually does worse to your paint--when little sand/dust particles get stuck between the braw and front, the friction causes little scratches to be made on the paint.

The new clear bras that stick onto the car though work well, though you can notice 'em especially if your car's getting dirty.

lol

on the real though....you'll also see nice NEW looking paint on the spot covered when you take it off in like...3-5 years. then you'll be able to tell how much wear really did happen on your car. lol....i had a bunch of friends who did that back when. its a good thing NOT to do. however, i haven't seen/heard of these clear ones. very interesting.

But since you are from Germany you might want to search on the net for some place more local.

and pay the outragous EURO rate, I don't think so. Something that would cost $300 they would sell for 300 euro, so it'd be like $450 to us.

i just thought of this. a good use for a car bra would be on long trips on the road, this way you'd keep the bugs off your nice front end. otherwise just keep it off the car or the paint will fade in a really bad way. i had a bra on my old chevy for years, the car was white but underneath the bra the paint was brown.
