Its caused from the bra rubbing against the paint and causing the paint to be rubbed off. I had a brand new Integra a few years back and the bra did the same thing. Honda won't help you any, the only hope you have is to get a hold of the Bra manufacter, but most will tell you in the instructions to use a polish or a type of under layment before you install it. The only way I'd use a Bra again is if I had a small dent I had to cover up on the bumper.

Yeah I had the full honda bra and I was stupid and never took it off when I washed my car or when it rained. Then I saw large brown spots on the hood under the paint and I waxed and everything that was after 4 mths. So I took it in and they said it wasn't caused from the bra but a paint defect because the paint wasn't dulled at all.
But my dealer really likes me so they put it under warranty and it got fixed the whole hood and fenders repainted to blend the color.

c'mon people, read the directions under installation note-"make sure the vehicle and nose mask are clean and dry before installation. if moistiure under the mask is allowed to dry, it may cloud the paint. if the mask gets whet, remove it and allow to air dry completely. make sure the hood and nose of vehicle have been waxed with a high-quality paste wax."
please people, for your car's sake, read directions. and we had a bra on a car every winter for a good 8 years, and no problems, its all in how you use it.

wow, wow, sorry. look, im not saying your wrong its jsut that ive never heard of it happening when you take care or it. as for the look, i want one for the winter so i dont get cinders all over my car and chip the paint. i got the underbody spoiler for it and by the end of december(installed in august by the dealer) it was all chipped up, looked like it was splattered w/ white paint. but the bumper was fine. i woulda had a bra but they dont fit w/ the under body kit. so now that i have the hybrid front, which had to be painted(hybrids dont come in EBP), im getting a bra for it, but ill be taking it off in the winter and puttin my origional back on, oh well, im done now.
