O2 sim for the 7thgens that actually works!

Ok guys if this is a repost forgive me - I was talking to some friends from Colorado EP3 and Club RSX and founf this part from Casper electronics that actually works and better is a plug-n-play deal with the stock pugs to plug into your O2 sensor. They are pricey but anything beats the BigJoshRacing ones that you have to solder- I'm getting one as soon as I can- and I will post actual results from a d-series, others have been K-series but the have the exact part for us - part# 104053 or go directly to here -
O2 Simulator
Glad to help! Laters - Stevo

...an O2 simulator is for those of us that have a high-flow cat or test-pipe that turns the CEL light on and richens your A/F mixture because of the new signal to the ECU. This eliminates that by reducing the signal (due to the lack of the cat) and restores the proper fuel settings. Running rich for long periods of time can fowl up your plugs and other problems - but I have driven with mine on for about 10,000 with no problems but its good to have and remove that error code and the light on the dash.

It works very well...It's like a 2 minute install...It's a lot better than the other one that you had to wire it to the ECU

Yeah, I bought the other kind when I put my Hp Race Header on....It kept giving me problems, so I found the Casper Electornics one...It's so much easier to install....Just make sure you put it on the cat o2 sensor...I think a member here put it on the primary one and it didn't work

Results so far...

Well, I got it in yesterday night and drove around hard RPMs and let it idle for a long time and everything and no CEL! Normally I see one in 15-45 mins after install and driving hard, so -- it look good and it just plugs right in I love it... I'll keep you up to date if anything goes wrong guys but it looks good. Hey Stevo. I'd like to meet up with you at some point and check out this O2 sim in person. I really need to get one as the CEL keeps coming on with my Megan Cat.
