RS type grill with coupe instead of RS.

Well I was walking to my final last week at UT at Arlington when I saw a white coupe 7thgen. I looked at the grill and thought oh just a regular RS grill, thats cool. Then I take a second look, and where I thought the RS was it said coupe. It was one where he just took coupe and put it where RS was suppose to be, it was actually inlaid into the grill. I have never seen that anywhere. Just wondering if any has seen these grills anywhere.

It's probably DIY. If it looks too good to be DIY, then the owner's a pro DIY'er or his installer or shop is.

I've seen a member in the member rides gallery with a grill like that. It looks like it was taken off a domestic. I cant remember too clearly, it was an altezza grill. lowercase script with a ' over the the e in 'coupe'

nope wasn't diy'ed I know for a fact, he would have had to custom mold the plastic to be able to get the coupe to fit perfectly.

too bad you cant take pics... you don't even have your own gallery

There's only 5 style grills for 7th gens out there that are made for sure:

Altezza (with painted lip... please please paint the lip)

RS (YUP This is an RS grill, but it has a MUGEN sticker in place of the RS)

Kaminari

Grillcraft

and Mugen

the rest are DIY. I'm sure he would not have been the only one sporting it if it was produced in the US, where making your car unique only means you're copying someone else...

it is basically like that mugen one except with the word coupe and it wasn't just a sticker it was actually a part of the grill. If I see it anytime soon I will post a pic of it.
