rear chrome piece on sedans
i've replaced the front chrome peace with a colored one....
and i've realized that the new civics don't come with chrome peace in the back!
just wondering if the rear chrome is replacable w/ non chrome which come in 04....
if it is replacble..is it avilable yet? if yes..where?

they are swapable
(the 2004 trim fits onto the 2001-2003s)
they are available
(i swapped mine out about 3-months ago)
you can get one from the dealer
(around $50.00...OEM paint-code matched)

Just get it from the dealer. It's the 04 model painted trim. You could try and paint it, but it's gonna take alot of prep work. At least the chrome will hve to be sanded off. Then you need primer and a paint adhesive. It might not even match when you're done.

I need to find a cheap way to get mine. I have a clover green pearl civic sedan, so it's kind of hard to find a rear trunk piece that comes in that color...

You have to get it painted unfortunately. Maybe you can try to get your paint color in a spray can, then prep and paint it yourself. It could work, and it won't cost you alot.
