Exhaust question...

i currently have a custom 2.25" exaust with a Greddy Evo muffler taken from my brother's wrecked 95 integra. I like the set up but i think it sounds way too loud and ricey. i dont know if its cuz of the muffler or what. Im thinking about changing the muffler to something with a smaller tip than 4.5" and maybe an oval shape can like Apex'i WS. i have the sedan so i think a smaller muffler and tip would look a lot cleaner. got any suggestions? Also, im not tryin to spend 200 dollars on just a muffler. Thanks

it sounds loud because of the thickness of your 2.25 in pipe...i've got the evo and there's nothing "ricey" about it...and yeah, do you have a resinator?...
