i got a brand new aem cai for my 02 lx. if you look at the bottom of the pipe where the filter will go on i noticed a dent. the dent is on the lip of the end pipe. it is straight dent not rounf. if you are having trouble understanding this mesage sorry. i cant be anymore clear than this. anyway is this normal. will it affect the performance??

you mean instead of being completely round its got a lil part that may be flat? or in otherwords squared off?

i dont think it will affect the intakes performance

yeah, a buddy of mine bought an AEM cai for his prelude and it had the exact same thing. (right where the filter attaches to the pipe) You won't have any problem with that....
