Ok... So, Im in love with the sound that the 350z, G35 and the FX series from infinity make... Is there any exhaust in the market that will sound simular? Or what kind of set up, as in exhaust and intake, maybe?

Any ideas?

I know a lot of you guys want that sound too

RS-R
ExMag

ExMag features - quietest exhaust note on the market (most applications) - refined stealth like appearance - ceramic coated mandrel bent piping - dyno proven gains in horsepower and torque - engineered in Japan - signature RS-R exhaust tip

With the street performance enthusiast in mind, RS-R developed the ExMag exhaust line to provide powerful gains in horsepower and torque while retaining a quieter exhaust note. It is a well known fact that it is extremely difficult to produce an exhaust system that makes good power without the excessive noise. However, through extensive R&D at RS-R Headquarters in Japan, all ExMag systems have been dyno proven to provide significant power increases over similar exhaust systems. Our "Exhaust Magic" lineup offers an excellent alternative to the noisy "coffee can" style of exhausts.

If you're tired of getting tickets and citations for excessive noise, this is the exhaust system you need. The classic styling and stealth like design will also help keep your car off the radar.
The signature RS-R exhaust tip expels exhaust from the muffler to produce a subtle look and quiet sound. This sleek style and quieter exhaust note, makes the Ex-Mag the ultimate street application.

Wrong answer!!! The EVO is too loud for what he is looking for...There were some sound clips of the RSR, but I can't seem to find them now...I say get that or maybe the World Sport II...

Trade in your car and buy one of those, the high tech Japanese noise is only made by those great cars.

Suprisingly, my flowmaster sounds a lot like the Z, but I think it's also the Injen CAI that helps with the sound. It's just a little lower pitched than the Z though, but with the same kind of unique sound.

cant be power because the infinity fx series has the same sound... and its not power because you hear it when they go 1mph... civics cant do that?

thermal axleback will do it.

anything more than an axleback will make it buzzy after 4000rpm.

youre not going to get a sound similar to a Z or G35 out of a civic because of the engine. a sohc I4 doesnt compare to a dohc V6. the v6 is naturally going to sound cooler.

G35, 350Z, FX engine's V8 sounds completely different and can't be replicated, no matter what exhaust you use. The timing of detonations sounds different, a more rough and slightly whiny growl.

My roomate has an FX, and there's no way a civic will ever sound like that.
