7thgen side molding removal

anyone ever tried to remove the sidemoldings that are on our cars? i see that in other countries, side moldings are an option.(kind of like the US accord). Are there holes for clips? or is it just factory twosided tape?

there are holes for clips and factory two sided tape on sedans, and from what i hear just the tape for coupes. so if you remove them from sedan there will be holes in em.

this has been covered before...

COUPE = 3M double-sided tape (molding is an option)
if you remove the molding on this body style = no holes

SEDAN = 3M double-sided tape and plastic clips
if you remove the molding on this body style = holes to fill/paint
