I have a straight pipe from the cat back 2 1/4 inch. it can be loud an annoying if you have a long drive unless you have a system
It is fine for city driving.
My muffler is alittle under the oem lip kit and I do not have residue problems at all on lip or bumper.
If a cop is an *** it might cause you to recieve a fix it ticket.

PunkinCivic, i have factory exhaust right now, with a new muffler though. Would going straight pipe (2.25") from Cat back, would that make it louder? As well as more power? Or just volume? Right now, my ride is SUPER quiet with my new muffler??? Silencer is out. I wanted to replace the cat with straight pipe as well (im from Canada, and i won't get in trouble for smog junk), but there is a bunch of sensors to worry about. From the cat back, no sensors right????? Lemme know plez. thanks
