What is this called?
Not the actual kit but the black peice underneath with the arms connecting the middle, I'm getting that body kit put on and I'd rather break that black peice than the actual kit. Do you guys know what it's called?

Sorry it's hard to see

I'm not worried about regular driving I have stock springs but our roads are rough and some roads dip all of a sudden and my friend just tore his up. Any other ideas for taking road impact? Maybe I'm worring too much though.

you can make it out of thin metal also. You know, the stuff they put on the bottom of doors that gets kicked. You can get it at Home Depot and cut it to fit your bumper.

I dont think yer gonna want to destroy the splitter the CF splitter prob cost more than your bumper depending on how big the splitter is so id rather destroy the bumper than the splitter

Is it similar to the black rubber piece that comes on the bottom of our bumpers stock? The rubber thing that protects the bumper in case you accidently hit a curb? Mine has saved my bumper a few times.
btw, are you getting that hood, too? If so, I hope you have some sort of functional hood scoop modification. Otherwise it's going to be like the ricey fake hood scoops that come on Mustangs. It will do nothing except create extra drag, and be ricey cuz it looks high performance but is non-functional (the definition of rice).

Yeah no hood scoop for me just the body kit. I might get the same spoiler too, it's low body colour swooping one. I'll have pics of my car.
I'm going try and fit a stock lip or someting like that I already accidently hit it going over a speed bump last night but no marks pfew.

I think it looks pretty cool. Heres another angle. However I agree with robbclark, you could probably fabricate this with some inexpesive material and a few tools.
