Is polyurethane repairable/mendable?

Would a polyurethane kit (ie: Kaminari side skirts that were cut in half) be repairable? Is this something that can be repaired with bondo or some kind of mending material or are these garbage bound?

they are repairable. might cost you a good bit if they are cut in half. not sure bout that, i get cheap bodywork prices from a semi sponsor. couldn't give you a justifiable quote. how'd they get cut in half?

.....yes it is repairable....it may be tricky....techniques used is like welding...
you have to find some chunk of the same material (polyurethane) and melt it in, onto / back together on both sides. then grind or sand excess and do filler work. basically same technique as welding.

Might as well trash it. You can probably buy a replacement cheaper than it would cost to get it it fixed.

Isn't polyurethane a polymer? Hmmm. You could alway mold it, melt your current kit and then our it back into the mold... but wait... that a stupid idea. Yep, I'm a retard.
