The intake rocks! Installation for the most part was easy, though the blue rubber tube they provided was way too small and was a bit*h to get onto the cylinder head.
As for the sound? Right when I started it up (after letting the ECU reset and engine idle for 10 minutes), the hissing/sucking sound was so friggin' high pitch and loud! Music to my ears!
I have an Automatic (dont laugh) but the power increase was definitely there, more in the low-mid range. Before when the car used to shift into second, the very bottom of second would be UBER weak, now its WAY more responsive than before. Mid-range is the same way, and high end, i really didnt feel a difference.
Only problem is my intake sits loose (the cf part), i cant bolt it on cause i have a grounding kit bolted there, and the bolt is too short to put the grounding kit and intake there. Also the bracket on the actual steel piping doesnt bolt on or come close to anything, what gives?
I've tried generic short ram, injen cai, and now this... i can say this is my favorite cause of the low-mid range. The injen did have a nice screaming sound though.

Good job with the review.
It was well written and helpful. It discussed sound and PERFORMANCE
, which is the purpose of an intake, unless you're a ricer, in which case you don't care about actual performance and only care about SOUNDING like you have increased performance
. I approved your post so you're now +1 points. dumdumdooams on the other hand is now -1 points for his stupid, bandwidth wasting post.
