has anyone on this site made a custom fiberglass body kit for their vic? Im very inexperienced with fiberglass, so i probably wont be the first, but it doesnt seem to be that hard. All you would have to do (i realize that this is a BIG all) is somehow get a mold of the top of your stock bumper to get the shape, then fiberglass that mold to get an identical copy of the upper shape of the bumper. Then use MDF or some such thing to make a frame, and do about a dozen layers of fiberglass over it (overtop of fabric that's pulled to the shape you want it. I realize that it would be a hell of a lot of work, but the work doesnt seem so hard that no one has done it. I had just never heard of anyone, and once i do a few enclosures, i might try it, since no body kit out there really appeals to me. It would also be a lot cheaper.

There is a DIY on the internet. This guy used foam to shape it cover in some wax so the resin didn't get into the pores of the foam and glassed over it.....let me see if i can find it again.
