I cleared my keyholes a while back but it involved taking the key hole mechanism out, then the same procedure for shaving any hole, weld bondo paint, etc.

And what happens when your remote dies unexpectantly?
Keyless entrys work on batteries they dont die unexpectantly
and what if you unexpectantly lose your keys?
exactly
i like a clean car, but theres no point to somethign liek this...
-looks good
-convenient
-and like you said
it looks clean
just M.O.

you cant use slim jims on our cars, the security glass sets all the lock mechanism behind the window...so you either break the window, or wedge the door.
and unless he shaves his trunk hole...getting in the car isnt impossible. thats why the folding seats allow entry through the trunk. ive had to do it in the winter time because my doors were frozen shut.

and about the handles... you could just get the passenger side, or maybe just the drivers side so if your batts do die you could still get in

they come painted. check honda automotive parts webpage. you have to select 2003 civic ex sedan w/ side air bags. here is the link:
http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...EAR+DOOR+LOCKS
scroll down to 23 and 33 and you will see that they come painted and are $38 a handle.

just like Dr5D said, inside the trunk, inbetween your rear speakers are two handles that you pull that release the seats...if you have no life and read your manual like i did...youd know that
just to comment on shaving door handles. I don't know what the laws are where everyone is from but it is illegal here to shave door handles. I said screw it and shaved the door handles on my 6th gen vic. A couple of months later I went to the track and was told I couldn't even clock my car because now it was a safety violation according to the tracks rules. So just check it out before you shave your handles. I know nobody cares about the law but you may care if you can never clock your car again.
