I'm not sure if this has been posted before, but it's definately useful.
You can download the 2001 Honda Civic Owners Manual in Adobe Acrobat format (pdf) at this location.
http://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/assets/...HondaCivic.pdf
It's 5.4mb in size. It's also searchable. That'll save you a lot of time from thumbing through the regular manual looking for fluid specs and other stuff. You can also print pages that you may want to keep for reference.
If the link doesn't work, you may need to join Honda's Owners Link, which is...
"A no-cost essential resource for Honda drivers, offering access to valuable resources like maintenance schedules, roadside tips, FAQs and dealer contact information."
Cool stuff....Enjoy!

PDF is awesome. I don't think the owner's manual is very different between VII generation civics, but I own a 2005 EX SE.Originally Posted by Cal1316
what about for a 96 civic hx? haha that would be nice I believe all the PDFs come from the honda owner link and you have to register if you want a different generation civic manual. Unfortunately, you must also have online connection in order to view the PDF.

Has anyone else had problems with the owner's link PDF manual?
Mine's 2005 and none of the links on the content page work.
Tried different computers and different versions of reader. wtf.
added later:
Ok so I used a full version of acrobat pro only to find that no links were associated with the links in the pdf. seems they are using some other software to create these official-from-the-source pdfs or the employees are dumb.

click on the blue box that says 'click here to download from sendspace' and don't install bearshare or anything besides the file "Honda Civic Factory Service Manual (96-00).pdf"
I think username gearbox has permanent links.

I am looking for a 2004 EX factory service manual as well. Let me know if you find one.
