Hey, under my stock cd player in my 02 civic, there is an emtpy spot. It has a little flip down cover, and I've been sotring my cd's there. I wondered if anyone knew anytihng about it. Like, can you put a cd player there (and put a dvd where my stock cd player is). Or could I put gauges in there (which is what I want to do.) I really want to put the blitz power meter id in there and the matching boost controller, but it dosent seem large enough to qualify as an empty din slot. I mean, you think that slot would be there in case I want to put in electronics....

You could put anything you want in there, I believe it was intended for an optional install of any kind from the dealership. Most stuff will fit, like a Cassette or 6CD player in dash or after market stuff. I use it for CD's, but I want to get a 6 in dash someday. Otherwise though, it can fit three CD cases.

Hmm well guys thx! I didnt know what I could put in there, so I'm think that the Blitz Power meter ID will work. Hmmm, mabey even some reg gauges could go in there...

I put a Alpine CVA 1003 deck with flip screen on the top and a dvd player on the bottom. A kit has just come out for that install I have it on order when it comes in I will post a pic.
