Question tyc projetor lights

i have the black projector lens for my 2001 civic. i installed already but im not feeling yellow lighting. iwanted to know if any has change the lights on the projetors lens. ? my real question is whats size and the bulbs. i know the stock bulbs for the oem lights are h4.. but this bulbs are alot smaller .. and where would i be able to get the new bulbs .. i would like a bright white or a bright purple or birght blue ... thanks for the help

are your TYC headlights sealed well??? like have you noticed any Fog build up inside of your lights since you've driven with them???

this is correct



try ebay for the bulbs...

heres what i had:
Mtec H1s (2x @ 4350K) - LOW BEAM
stock 3457 (altered for hyperblinker) - SIGNAL
Polarg 194 - PARKING
Piaa H1s (ION-GOLD) - HIGH BEAM

falken would it make a difference if you change the parking blubs and signal bulbs in the TYC headlight??? I thought they were covered with Yelly Amber Tint?

K i have several questions ............1st Where is the cheapest place to purchase the TYC Headlights??? 2nd Do the lights come sealed really well????? and 3rd how can you change the Blub in a projector lens??? no matter what the color of the blub is, the blubs light still has to travel through the projector lens correct????

the side reflectors are different on some units (some are clear and some are amber)
*mine were amber*

the front signals i had were covered with a clear lens
(i just left the stock bulb in...you can change to the hyper-white bulbs)

the parking ones didnt have a lens covering the bulb
(you can change them out with hyper-whites)

no matter what the color of the blub is...the blubs light still has to travel through the projector lens correct?


1) ebay is fairly cheap, but you can find some on this site from other members that might be selling them even cheaper

2) the housings do come sealed very well (in my experience)

3) easiest way to change them would be before installation
(you can change them afterwards by removing the 'grommet' and releasing the pin, disconnecting the wire lead and then reverse)

4) the light does pass through the lens which creates a purple to blue to white effect (normal on projection lens)...if you change them out to lets say Mtec H1s, they go from purple to blue to an intense white

i started a thread on this, but no one answered yet... how do i get to the driver side middle bulb in my projectors. i changed the passenger side one, but on the driver side, there is stuff blocking to where u cant even pull the bulb out... any suggestions?

angel eye lights are sweet but i prefer the TYC version. Hey did you add a red corner blub???? nice ride
