mtec h1 4x bulbs...too much power?

okay i made the mistake of purchasing these mtec 4x bulbs for my tyc projectors a couple weeks ago because i wanted the brightest possible bulb for 20 bucks. but now that i think about it im kinda afraid of melting the harness or projector. i havent installed them yet but i want to hear of any PERSONAL experiences you guys may have had with these? or known of people that have had 4x bulbs. any problems, etc. thanks.

ion is way brighter than hib's if you are going for visibility and reliability.
the harness should be fine i havent had any problemswit mine
they are way worth it compared to the ones they give you stock

So if I wanted to buy new bulbs for stock housing, I would probably want H1 MTEC 4X?
