aright guys i dont know if this is the correct place if so, im sorry

i need to vent im mad about my car cause someone had the nerve to break in and steal my whole instrument panel and stuff including my pioneer head unit

so i need suggestions on car alarm whats good out there???

find a good alarm ($400 - $500) then find a BETTER installer.

its all about the install. if he can change the place he puts the box, good. makes it harder to find and cut wires. also, get a back-up battery jus incase they disconnect your battery, the alarm will still go off.

a 2-way LCD pager system is nice and has a lot of advantages.

hey man i gotta Autopage alarm cost me 350 installed...comes with remote start/pop trunk/all that good **** and it's an LCD monitor to. if you go to www.autopageusa.com it's model number 750lcd !! hope that helps. It actually really works cause once someone was trying to break into my cr and i caught them before they took anything cause my pager started going off.

hey if you really want a good quality alarm system go with viper alarm. however if you have a few extra bucks and want the best of the best go with Clifford alarm systems with a motion sensor combo. Trust me you cant go wrong with Clifford

get some good repore with an installer. see if they'll let you watch and make decisions on where you want things.

you just have to find an installer that likes you and is willing to work with you.

haha an installer that likes me hmmm yea i "had" a viper alarm but they got in anyhow "sigh" it was prob more than 1 person cause they laid the sub/amp wire in a perfect str8 line

yeah someone once told me there is about a one second delay if they get your hood open where they can cut the power to your battery so they can disable the alarm. My advice is to get a back up battery like i did so in case they cut the primary alarm they cant cut the secondary because its hidden. Also usually if they knew which alarm you had they you probaly know them and they know you (unless you have a sticker on your car saying VIPER ALARM)

i'd say try and do it yourself. We have a wiring diagram/database on the site anyways. go slowly, be careful, and be creative.

our you could get a clifford alarm from ebay then get someone you really trust to do the install a motion sensor is 80 bucks they work really well
