i think(((((i said think))))) all they do is take black and spray what color pearl u want on it. we tried white pearl ummm it was nasty had 2 paint my eye lids white. hint hint there 4 spray ex clear just in case u want 2 go back 2 carbon color

Silver "carbon-fiber" is called glass fiber. They just use a different material for the fiber mat in the the stuff. I've seen stuff done in it, but never a hood. It probably wouldn't look too bad on a light colored car.

you can buy the carbon fiber hood and take it to a good paint shop and tell them to paint it whatever color you desire. hey did you all see the blonde in the bed??? damn shes HOT HOT

Its not silver carbon fiber, or silver glass fiber. It is a carbon/kevlar hybrid fabric. You can get it in red, blue, yellow, orange and green. May be some more colors. If you paint a carbon fiber hood, it just looks like a regualr hood, you cant see the weave in it anymore, unless you use a candy.
