Installing a bumper but not side skirts?
Installing a bumper but not side skirts?
Recently my poor 2003 Civic LX 4dr had her front bumper damaged (bad girlfriend!!), and I figured I might as well install a fancy bumper instead of a stock one.
My question is, will a Buddy Club Style front bumper look silly without side skirts? My main concern is that the bumper will be close to the ground, but the sides will be about two inches higher of the ground..
Thing is it'll be cheaper to get it all done at once than to get the bumper installed, then decide I need to install side skirts too.
Also, the body shop I'm taking her to wants $350 CDN to install/paint fibreglass skirts. I understand they are top notch, the best in town, but that seems like an awful lot to pay (on top of $550 CDN for installing/painting bumper).
Thanks for any advice.

u should get it all around... get a whole kit... IMO if u dont have it all around it wont work together and it'll look funky... i make this statement by the fact that i have seen many rides on the road with just a front kit and nothing else (DOES NOT LOOK RIGHT!)... spend a little more and you'll be glad that u did...

I have seen a couple of cars with just a front bumper of a kit and IMO it looks just fine, you can't really tell the rest is missing at a glance.
EDIT: I paid $440 USD to repaint my rear stock bumper after a collision.
