Valentine One Radar Detector
I just ordered a Valentine One Last night, Should be here sometime this week. I've been tossing the idea back and forth for a while now, and I finally decided to bite the bullet and get it. My friend has one, and i've seen it work, it's pretty cool. The only downside is that they're 400 bucks, and there's no way to get a discount.
Does anyone here have a Valentine One? What do you like/dislike about it?
For those of you still wondering, the Valentine One is a Radar Detector, some say the best you can get... go here for info http://www.valentineone.com/

if you are worried about the wires you can run then along the top of the headliner and down and around behind the platic molding on the passanger side....Thats is what I did...V One is the best there is never even gotten pulled over with it
Before mine was stolen last weekend (
) I absolutely loved it. As soon as I get a few other things taken care of I'm going to buy a new one. It is totally worth the price, and the wiring is easy to take care of. You can hard wire it into the 12V adapter, that's what I did. Then there's only a small section of wire running to it that's visible ..
On the downside, I got annoyed when the thing went off at all the grocery stores, but that's with any detector - just the way it has to be. So yeah, definitely a good buy.

Best radar detector to get next to the passport...
I had the passport for 300$ I didnt like it...
One time a cop was right next to me, and the thing started beeping like a mother, and the cop turned and looked right at me... He then followed me for like 30 minutes on my ride home... Guess to see if i was going to speed or just to be an *******... Also you can only have it (LEGALLY) above your rear mirror... anywhere else on the dash is illegal from what i heard... So, you will basically have a wire hanging down that will **** you off (: UNLESS you do the EX Radar detector wiring thingy... o_O
IMO Waste of money
Just use your eyes its better...

It got a bad rating because that site is paid for by Passport/Escort.
I have the Passport 8500 and i'm quite satisfied by it. I've used the V1 as well and the only advantage was the arrows. Otherwise, they both pick up signal at the same rate IMO

I have the Valentine and let me say this ... its saved me so much in tickets its paid for itself. I had a passport 8500, and where I knew there would be a cop the passport wouldnt get it but my valentine does ... its just awesome with the directional arrows and everything. I promise you won't be dissapointed, i love the lil thing

Thanks for the feedback guys, I've always heard good things about the V1, I would hard-wire it but Then it'd be sitting out on my dash in plain view for people to jack... My friend always puts it in his glove box, when he leaves his car, which is what i'm probably going to do.

I got the V1 and I love it. I've posted my reviews on some other radar threads, but I'm too lazy to do it right now, so you can search for them if you really care.
I'm surprised that there really hasnt been much replies against getting it, like there usually is.
Good luck when you get it. I'm sure you'll love it too.
