Henshin Hood

I know I already have posted about the VIS Hood - but I was wondering if anyone has the Henshin Monster W-Type Carbon FiberHood. If def looks better but I am unsure of the quality - it should be good though. right?

looks lke the vis invader hood, but with a smaller scoop.. e-mail henshinauto and ask them about k-count (i know its a factor in carbon hoods... might wanna get someone that knows what a k-count is) of hte carbon fiber, warranty on hood fade and whatever else you need to know..

oh yea.. someone fill us in on what a k-count on carbon fiber is and how it affects the carbon fiber... also what a good k-count it..

anything about 10,000 K count is a fairly respectable K count. Lets just leave it that VIS is a less than desirable K count.

Ok, i just called henshin - they don't know the K-count - they just said it was Grade A. The price is cheaper then the VIS and I do like the look better. So what do u guys think?

You remember what i said about Grade A in the other thread right? Just remember that you get what you pay for.

I wouldnt go with the cheaper. I prolly wouldnt go with VIS either. YOU get what you pay for in this game. You want a cheap hood your gonna get one. Did you find out about the rolled edges, UV protection, grade, under skeleton, the latch mechanism. All these things should be thought out and considered. And if i were you i would not buy one over the internet unless you can see the hood. I would spend the extra few bux and buy from a shop that way you can see the hood your getting. IMO

HRM, well I can not get stats on either of the two hoods. I can get the VIS Invader from a local shop. But I like the Henshin one better (Henshin is Buddy Club, so it cant be bad, right?). The henshin one is also slightly cheaper.

Also what are the weights of the hoods? My hood only weighs 11lbs. I've seen some CF hoods that weigh 25lbs......that's almost the stock weight!!!

do not assume that because of the brand that the hood HAS to be good. Examine it for yourself. TRUST ME.
