Valvetrain?
What would getting valve retainers and valve springs and steel valves do for our cars? Like the ones from dhracing.com? what would we able to rev to? what other gains would we get also?

Rep Power: 323 the other big stumbling block for the good ole d17 is finding a way to raise the rev limit. Unless you use a standalone ecu that is compatible with the d17 . your stuck with the stock rev limit no matter how much you build up the valve train.

Rep Power: 0 get a revlimiter remover or get it removed another way.. VERY possible and not that much money... i dont think SOHC's can make power worth making over about 7500rpm , MAYBE 8k rpm... so it doesnt need to be raised much... but valvetrain would help.. its on my list!

Is there truely another way available now??
a rev limiter remover...maybe on prev gens but not ours..at least not yet. I am sure something will be done sooner or later.
