Ok .. I've been browsing around Honda Automotive Parts for the tweeter pods. I just picked up some tweeters so now I want to buy the pods that are up by the side mirrors in the car. . . I have a '01 LX with the black enterior. . The parts that I found on the site are #s. 1083154 and 1083160.

Are those 2 part #'s the ones I'm trying to find? I don't wanna mess up and get the wrong ones. I noticed there is like a graphite black option too.?? and the Description is like LID, or LID Assy. something like that. . I dunno what the "LID ASSY" is?..

I cut out my tweeters in the stock pods and they fit right in the new tweeters that is...cant remember how i adhere'd them...i know i had some double sided tape...

Ok. . I'm not worried about mounting them yet. . I'm just trying to make sure the ones that I see on the site are the right ones?

make sure u get the same size as stock tweeters. I got the ones that come with the kicker RS6's, and they were too big (look up the tweeter size). So instead of putting the tweeter IN the pod, they had to place them ON it. It stil looks pretty good thou, but they had to be SUPERGLUED on there

i Just put tweeers in my 01 civic

i had to cut out the pod and silcone them in they look stock, but sound great.

and i thing those pods are the right ones but make sure with out tweeters

Thanks for the info guys. . I have all that covered though .. I have the right size and I'm not worried about mounting them yet. . I'm trying to figure out of the pods that I'm looking at on the site are the right ones for my car and the ones that I'm thinking about?

Do you have a coupe or sedan? Cause those pods won't fit a sedan. It looks like one of those is for the triangle, and the other for the door. I just mounted mine on the stock triangle piece, since I don't have a coupe. I'll post pics when they get developed.

I have a coupe. I know they only make the pods for the coupe. . What do you think? Are those right?

I think you have the right numbers. I would just get black so it matches well. I guess you don't have the EX coupe or the tweets would have come with the car.

Yeah. . so what's the difference between the black and the graphite black? and what is the LID ASSY???

Graphite black is probably more of a lighter black closer to grey. I think they started that color with the 03's.

Oh my, just order the product already! That just refers to the assembly without tweeters inside and not the whole kit like above.
