Head Studs?

Anyone know if there is a company that actually makes headstuds? I checked arp's website and they have a listing for d16, but no 17, anyone know?

A headstud replaces a headbolt....it threads into the deck and comes through the head where you thread a nut onto it from the top.

Well, I'm going to try to get my hands on a d16 headstud. I'll post back when I find out if it fits or not.

I am actually in search for some headstuds as well. You building you're motor or something? I was wanting to get ahold of some ARP's too. I am hoping that I can call ARP and work out a custom order or something.....Let me know what you come up with!

Well, motor hasn't been built....yet but I am boosting. I've been having overheating issues with the head, I'm now going on my 3d headgasket and I don't want to replace it again.

Unless you're experienced then I wouldn't mess around with trying to build your own motor. You should find someone who knows what they are doing and have them come help you out. That way its getting done right and you are learning at the same time.
