hid installation help

i install a plug and play 8000k hid kit but still no light. the ballast voltage is 9-14v. the manual says something about upgradin the fuse to 10-15a. is it something i already have or something i need? also, i heard something about relay kit. do i need it? there is a little black box wired to the ballast. please look at the picture. if anybody has installed or know about this kit (sunshine brand from japan 8000k), please help. thanx

if the manual said to install a higher fuse you should do that.
and also you should check if the hids are grounded right or else it wont light.

I just installed an 8000k kit in my car... i'd say it looks alot better then the 6000k... you can try putting it into the low beam... then for the ground, just touch the metal of your car to see if it lights up.... the car is the best ground ... if it still doesnt work, then check your headlight if it still works... after then.. i guess try to put it straight to ur battery and if all else fails.. then u prob got a defective kit.

The chrome box should be the ballast.
The black box should be the ignitor.
Is it a high/low or just a low beam kit?
If its a low beam kit it should be an easy plug and play install.
If its a high/low beam kit, this "relay" you talk about might be the high/low controller.
