Question How long is your bulb life?

Well, this must be the 4th set of MTEC bulbs i've gone through. I love the way these bulbs shine, the price and its lifetime warranty. Its just annoying that I have to spend 10$ every 4-5 months to replace the bulbs. I have mtec h1's in halo housing which are sealed. Im just getting so aggrivated that these things keep blowing out on me. Then I gotta drive around at night with 1 light out lookin like an idiot . Im thinkin about getting HID, but its a lot of $$$. Just wanted to know what type of bulbs do you guys use, and how long have they lasted? I know a lot of people use mtec and stuff, but has it ever blown out on you? You can post up any recommended bulbs as well.

I think the MTEC's are blowing cause of the projector housing. It gets too hot in there. People running the bulbs in stock housing have no problems. You may just want to try a regular bulb like sylvania cool blue or other. Name brands will last the longest. Make sure you're not running bulbs more than stock wattage (55/60).
