If you do a search, I think you'll find the stuff you need to know.. If I remember correctly, you do a conversion with the parts from an RSX. But you have to change a whole bunch of other stuff.. I don't know a whole lot about it but I know its been discussed before!
Yes, it's an Acura EL

If you really want it you can order the part numbers from the rear disc assembly for an Acura 1.7EL - mine came with it stock, and you keep the bolt pattern. Drops right in, considering the minimal diff in chassis and suspension between the 1.7EL and the Civic.
Well for my old Saturn, to do a conversion you needed, the brake lines, calipers, rotors, wiring, and a whole bunch of other stuff and it cost like 500 just for parts.
Im surprised it doesnt come with rear disc, but oh well. Im sure there is a way to do the conversion, I am going to talk to the dealership in the next day or two to see what they have for information on it or where I could find one. My salesman was wicked cool.

how to do a disc coversion with a civic (same way as this site, only using the exact same parts from an 02+SI/rsx)

note: this actually shows how to do 5-lug conversion, but essentially you're going to need the same stuff
