what about those e-bay type-r *****.. anyone got one and wanna show pics? i'm interested on what that looks like...
there are some different ways of keeping the boot up.
i'm currently waiting for my momo ****/boot and have an aftermarket **** currently on.
what i did, as well as many other people have done to fix this problem is really simple.
go buy a roll of black electrical tape, and with the boot off, just wrap and wrap the tape around the shifter to where you want the boot to sit. i cut off the plastic trim piece and you just have to get a thickness that is wider than the boot opening so it won't move down.
IT'S VERY GHETTO, BUT IT GETS THE JOB DONE AND IT'S CHEAP AND EFFECTIVE.

I have the same problems with my Razo ****, is there any kind of adapter that I can buy? I saw a momo adapter, would that work?, or would I have to get a momo boot, and momo shift ****. If theres no adapter, maybe Ill go get springs or some tape.

There is a black adapter that comes with the FP shift **** that will snap into the trip peice at the top of the boot. Then whatever shift **** you get will fit on with out the boot sliding down. The only issue is you have to buy the adapter and FP **** together which is around $50 bucks. If you like the FP shift **** then your in the good, if not you will either have to buy another **** or sell the FP one and buy another and just keep the adaper. You can't buy the FP **** at the dealership, but you can on http://www.handaaccessories.com
Hmmmm, Im trying to decide if that would look good with my Razo shift ****. I may do that, I dont like to ghetto rig stuff, if its not necessary, or too expensive to fix. 50 is a lot just to get an adapter, but may still be worth it.

i have the shift **** out of the honad element. it uses the same clip as the one for our cars so the boot wont sag. the shift **** also has a good feel to it and the best part is it only cost $20!

This is my **** out ot a 2000 SI, fits just like stock, just feels better. I'll try to remember to get a better pic. I'm sure you can pick up one of these off of ClubSI.com for a decent price.
