JDM RS Grille arrived
I just got my JDM RS grille in the mail today...the reason i am posting this is because i bought one from ebay a long time ago, and there are subtle differences between the two...in my opinion the "real" jdm grille feels a lot better, it comes with an official "RS" badge too...im not trying to downtalk the ebay joints, but for those of you who are thinking of getting one, i suggest spending a little more and get the official one...

i know the rs is for the sedan only, but i honestly don't give a crap...its better than buying an "altezza" grille, or some cheap imitation on ebay (no offense to those of you who have one, to each his own) My moto is, if you hook up your car, then do it right. And there is no other grille made for the coupe that is an authentic Honda part, or made by a decent aftermarket company. This grille came wrapped and sealed with honda of japan stickers on it, as well as the "H", and "RS" badge wrapped with honda of japan stickers on it.

So don't hate cuz my car an EX and i want to put an RS grille on it. And the grill does come painted from the factory, in either black or white. If you are interested in buying one, they are on sale at www.optauto.com Go to the "japanese conversion" link. My grille came painted black, and my car is blue, and i want to know if any of you guys have black grilles on without painting the lips?

dude ur nuts 170 bucks? wtr... lol ur a fooooooooool... i paid 35 for mine... and its chrome and yes its a knock off... but hey i would never pay that much for something that is just for looks imo .. if it had some kind of performance orientated thing.. then yea.. but lol ur fucing nuts

4. ROTA's are cool because they are light and the quality is good. I said "good". Mugen is "awesome", but ROTA is just "good". To most people, "good" is good enough.

Having a fake stuff on your car is like having a fake POLO SPORT shirt on. lol
Unlike ROTA's, it's more like wearing GAP or Old Navy jeans as opposed to Polo Jeans since your just gonna wear the jeans out and let them drag and fade.

Rep Power: 332 I just got my "type-R" grill off of ebay for $30. It's not exactly "cheap" plastic and is actually quite good quality. All of the JDM RS grills are cool but if you want the look and don't have the dough, ebay grills are just as good in quality. I can't see paying 170 bills just because something is "official." Not to many people can tell the difference anyways. So you paid 170 bills for a grill that people will look at and say hey I got that $30 grill too. Then should you notice the quality of their grill you will probably realize that you overpaid by $140 just for some stickers that say it's "official." I can get Honda of Japan stickers too, and if I want to, I can make more. Nobody will really care when you tell them that your grill is official though, they'll probably just look at you like a duma$$ for paying that much. But congrats on the grill though, you'll enjoy it.
