Rep Power: 0 This has the RS grille too! Are we supposed to call it our great-great-great-great grandpa?
j/k
Interestingly enough, "RS" stands for "Road Sailing". Once upon a time when the 1stGenCivic with CVCC hit the road......

Rep Power: 0 i'll post pics soon...
damn, i didn't know this post was gonna be this long...like i said, i don't have anything against knock off's or the altezza joint, and etc. I just prefer having OEM parts, thats all...and now that i know it means "Road Sailing" i fee a little better (thanks civic sky)...This weekend im installing the grill, and ill take pictures of it...i ordered the knock off joint at first, and its nice don't get me wrong, but im a nutcase, and the difference in the "RS" badge alone is enuff for me...i paid 140 more, but who here doesn't love their car?

after I put mine on, friends are like "it looks like it's missing something!" "it looks bald" "did you give here a shave?" "it looks blind"
lol. I like it. I'm going to buy a Honda emblem with red background and stick it in the middle.

Rep Power: 395 The JDM one also comes in silver (SSM) BTW. Is the grating on the JDM grille made out of metal? It looked like it was from close up pics, but I wasn't sure. So... Is it?

Rep Power: 0 man.. I understand paying more for authentic JDM stuff. I paid $350 for my JDM taillights, but .. I still would hesitate.. or won't pay $170 for the RS grill.

Rep Power: 0 I'm a little pissed off. I bought my $30 "type-r" grill from ebay. I threw out the cheap Typr-R badge and installed my grill. After it was all said and done, I was ticked off. I fit and everything, but theres about a 1 inch gap between the lip of the hood and the top of the grill. It looks way out of place. I thought it would sit flush with the hood with a small panel gap. I took it off and put my original grill back on. What really sucks is I had it painted. Are everyone's like this?
