headlights Bulbs Which ones are the best??
Iam searching for good bright headlight bulbs and was wondering which ones wont blow on you in a short amount of time and are very worth it... such as if it is bright and has a cool tint to them iam searching for a purple tint and was wondering if the eurolights are any good for our cars.

1. PIAA
2. MTEC 2x version (4x might damage your harness)
3. Polarg
You can get MTEC from ebay. Remember, DO NOT EVER TOUCH THE BULB's GLASS. Keep it clean at all times.....or else it will bubble and possibly burst.

The best halogen bulb is Phillips Vision Plus.

Are these lights the same, or just compatible? Or is it wrong?
Just want to be sure, thanks.

If you have OEM fogs then go for Luks as they have H4 and H11 bulbs that match very well and are as bright as MTEC's, just pricier, they last long too (over a year now for me). I like MTEC's for H4's, but could never find MTEC's for H11 bulbs (OEM fogs).

Also I read on another thread that Luk's are higher wattage? Is that true, or can I get the right kind that I need. I got a little confused about it...

9443 or 9440 it's your call. Since you're looking out for popo's I would say 9443 since they stay lit while your parking lights are on. the 9440's are off when the headlights/parkinglights are on and just flash for the blinker. They should be $1.99 or so at Pep Boys.
For everyone else that needs bulbs for the headlights, use H4 bulbs and I recommend PIAA Xtremes. I have a set of those now and I swear by them. I haven't tried MTEC's but they are good too from the reviews I have read.

hey clownprince, did you mean 7440 or 7443? If not if i get 9440, they make the turn signal light stay off when the headlights are on and only go on when you signal? As to the headlights, I would go with a HID conversion kit, I have them on mine, paid $425 and they look bad *** and can see everything, well worth the money.

So can you not "mix and match" the MTEC H4's with Luk's H11's? Or would the whiteness not be the same? Are the OEM fogs white enough, or should those be changed too? I bought them, but haven't installed them yet, so I was wondering if I should change the bulbs first.

I dont think they have strictly enforced the sale of HID kits, every shop here in houston sells them, and they can be found anywhere on the internet. thanks for the info.
