Mine will be here tommorow and hope to install it then. I am looking for any iinfo I can get to help me with this. I have a 2001, and allready have taken out the center console (momo shift ****). I remember another member having a website a while back with a DIY on this, anyone remember his site?

one thing that will help with the installation, with the cable on the driver side of the shifter that thing is hard as hell to get off. You have to disconnect the other cable unscrew the mounts on the bottom of the stock shifter and turn the shifter so it will come out. It took me like 10 minutes to figure it out. Oh yeah and get Grey's upgrade kit and Capyoda's bushings. I don't have the bushing but I have Greys kit and it made it a hell of alot stiffer.

What is Grey's upgrade kit?????????????????
I put this on in no time at all, only took a half hour. I love the feel of this shifter a lot! It's like having a new car again!
Capyoda's bushings were key, they made a big diff.
Still interested in what Grey did though.

Grey has a kit of washers and better kotter pins for $6. It will make what you think is really stiff even stiffer, and make for better shifting. PM him for more information about it. He helped me out alot. He even sends you directions.
