I bought sides off someone on this site but it didn't come with brackets.. Do I need the brackets off honda or is there another way to put these things on? I heard double sided tape but that doesn't sound right.. thanks for any help

my oem sides are on with screws/botls on each end and tape thru the middle

What are you talking about? do you know me? I bought these in toronto, so were not talking about the same thing here, the guy had no brackets I bought them used..

take it easy buddy. no i DON'T know you. i was simply bringing up the point that this EXACT thing happened a few weeks ago to another member. which is why it was kind of wierd.

ANYWAYS, from that other response, it looks like you don't need the brackets, but i would definately get the strongest double sided tape available.

usually i would say right now that "i hope your skirts fall off and you run over them" but its friday, and i'm in a good mood.

Hope they go on and stay on!

and next time don't jump down people's throat for making a relevant post.
