What is the best exhaust for a 2001 lx 2 door model. It seems as if they only make them for the ex model. Where is a good place to buy exhaust and has good prices. Any info will help greatly.

It is whatever you want. I have OBX B2 muffler rear section from muffler tech, with custom cat-back piping 2.25" with a resonator to the rear section. There are alot of systems out there for the LX. Just gotta find what you like. I like mine because I got a full cat-back for $245 and is great to me. That is probably gonna be the cheapest cat-back for our cars. But there are others out there. Look at the stickys in the forums with the sound clips and see what you like best. If you want a sound clip of mine send me a pm.

I had a 2001 LX before I traded it in. Understand that exhaust do just a little bit horsepower wise... That said, check out the exhaust clips on the tech side of the forum. I had magnaflows on mine. Although they do hang low, I had this problem corrected for $45 at a muffler shop. Cost me only $300 and it was awesome.

EDIT: Nevermind, exhaust clips are on top!

RSRs. too bad it's only for EX. but there's probably a way to fit it into an LX though.

From the ONLY one who has the RS*R... it's awesome. Very quiet, very steathy, Zero rice (no burble, fart, or anything, just a constant hum a hair louder than stock, and a few pitches lower)... but incredibly expensive (like $570 expensive). If you can get a pipe the length of the EX cat with a flange on the back of it (Go to an exhaust shop)... you can put any EX exhaust onto an LX.

i have a hks rear section with custom piping 2 1/4 and resignator 2 1/4...sounds pretty good and deep...
