AEM CAI DX/LX v EX version?
Just wanted to know what the difference is between the AEM CAI for the DX/LX model and the EX model. Is it just different mounting points? or is it something different.
I am from australia and I will be visiting the US soon. I just wanted to buy the AEM CAI. My civic is the 1.7 non VTEC version (M/T), so I'm thinking I should get the DX/LX version.

If i remember correctly, the EX intake was 0.25" larger in diameter.
But i've seen people with LX civics that have EX intakes..... it still fits either way. I doubt the extra 0.25" gives you an noticeable hp gain.
Just get the LX/DX and save the thinking
