yes it is for real, i bought my CF hood from them and ive been recommending them ever since i recieved it. very good quality!

Are the edges of the hood rolled underneath or are they cut off on the edges? I saw a few hoods this weekend at the Mid Atlantic meet, and everything was cut on the edges. I want something that is actually rolled on the edges and has frame underneath.

they are cut off at the sides, but is rolled over in the front. there is a frame underneath made out of ABS plastic. it is very strong and durable. my hood fits very snug against my car, its almost the same fitment as an OEM hood, it doesnt have that gap that some CF hoods have when closed.
