POLL: Which carbon fiber hood should i buy?
ive been debating this question for about 2 weeks now. i need a hood thats priced well but has pretty good quality. here are the ones ive been thinking of..
BKNW from tornactive.com
- $389 w/ $100+ shipping fee
- C-Style Scoop
DG Motorsports from tornactive.com
- $579 w/ $100+ shipping fee
- UV protective gel coat
- 6k carbon fiber
VIS from nopionline.com
- $410 w/ shipping and extra Georgia resident sales tax (what a bitch)
Kaminari from nopionline.com
- $593 w/ shipping and extra Georgia resident sales tax
- awsome quality
now if i could get any id probably get a kaminari but that is somewhat expensive. ill probably either get a bknw or vis. i need some other opinions on these as well. if anyone has any better deals please show them to me. NO EBAY! also if anyone has any idea if any of the hoods have hood pin marks that be great as well.

BKNW Rob from Tornactive told me they have great customer service, which you would not get from VIS. That's really the only major difference. The hoods are basically the same. I don't think the kaminari hood looks right. It's got that black strip all around it and no place for the strip on the front of the hood.
AeroSpeed ~ from LA
They got the oem kind of hood which use the stock hook and stuff. only $350
FiberImages
Very Very nice and light hood with hood less hood frames than the oem ones and when you do k20, there will be no clearance problem too!
price about %550 - 600 for oem style

The only one of those hoods that I would stay away from is VIS. The others seem like respectable choices. Remember that you get what you pay for. When drilling the wholes in my Kaminari hood there was no cracking. The CF had amazing quality.
A great shot of my Kaminari CF hood.......
