Rep Power: 0 Yeah, I hate that, too. It seems like every other car I drive that's stick, I only have to push it down maybe 2-2 1/2 inches. How do you fix that?

Rep Power: 0 You don't have to push the clutch all the way to the floor... I dont know if thats bad or not but when I shift i only push it like halfway and it works fine....

Rep Power: 0 my clutch only has to move about 2-3 inches...i think it's in the cable that runs to the hydrloc silonoid, it depends on the guy whom assembled your honda...i think it's adjustable.....

Rep Power: 0 i dont push mine in all the way either, i also dislike how slow it has to be let out, my dad's tacoma is so much more fun to drive, the 4 wheel drive might be a factor though

Rep Power: 269 ya know thats bad for the clutch and the gear syncros if your not engaging the clutch all the way, if can lead to long run problems with the transmission..... I'm pretty sure...

Rep Power: 0 if your clutch is engaged at all you will usually be able to shift smoothly. if you downshift from a high rev in 4th to 3rd, thus causing u to redline u will begin deterioration of your synchro.
everyone gets a gear grind occasionaly so thats not gonna make huge problems either

No cable. Otherwise it would be a cable clutch. Honda hasn't used them since the early 90's.
As far as adjusting??? I have no clue. I was under the impression you couldn't. Maybe if you add more fluid or there is some way to increase the pressure, but I'm not aware of it.

Rep Power: 314 It is adjustable. But not sure if it's possible on our cars. My brother had his Del Sol changed. I think he said the mechanic played around with 2 screws by the clutch pedal..... the clutch point is lower and total clutch pedal travel is less.

Rep Power: 350 Has anyone looked into this yet? I have the same problem with my SI. It we could adjust the pedal height, than ti would allow for quicker shifts.
