Aem V2?
ok, we all know that for our cars the v2 is an sri ... so ... how about if we took the sri, put a pipe and the end of it to extend further down the engine bay and stuck a dopeass filter on it ? ... anyone think it'll be a tightass setup?

it may negelect any effect of the V2 if you go and do that.
plus there's no room for that size of tube.
there's a reason why they didn't make it a cold air, cuz the tube diameter doesn't fit...
if you reduce the diameter, it'll kill whatever effect the V2 was claiming to do.

I just got my V2 this weekend and it actually makes a noticeable difference in throttle response and acceleration. I was able to chirp at 6,200 RPM instead of redline between 1st and 2nd and I even got 3rd to give me a little tweet which had never happened before. I am disappointed that it isn't a CAI, but only slightly as it still has gains. No telling how much number wise, but some. Also when you get on it the dual sound waves that AEM boasted are there and sound pretty sweet! I am quite pleased with my purchase.

I think you misunderstood me.
I wasn't trying to tell you that it wont fit..
I was trying to tell you that extending the tubbing, might kill the V2 effect. which was that twin tube diameter deal they had going on.
might rob the "extra power" AEM claims V2 gets by using dual chamber wave frequency or whatever.
